Meet Sex Ed Mom (aka Erica Neuman)!

A sexual health expert with over 30 years experience working in the field of sexual and reproductive health and empowerment.

Sex Ed Mom was originally launched on ThriveOnline on Oxygen in 1999 as an online advice columnist and on-air expert for parents and teachers on how to talk to kids about sex.

NOTE: As a culture we continue to learn and evolve, as would my advice as "Sex Ed  Mom" if I was writing new columns now.
For example, we have more inclusive language today and some medical guidelines have changed so be sure to do some research to confirm advice accuracy from my old columns and any other sources you find. The good news is that there are many more amazing sex educators and digital tools available today that can  help you in your quest to raise sexually healthy youth.
